STARS IN OUR SCHOOLS is an annual celebration of School Support Staff

I’m encouraging all our fantastic Salford school members to participate this year .

What a great opportunity Stars In Our Schools is for your Head Teacher and the pupil’s to recognise the fundamental importance and value of you and your role within the school.

You are the people who have participated selflessly in keeping our school’s afloat throughout the whole of the pandemic. Without you,  schools could not have functioned the way they did – and still do!

WHAT TO DO?

You will need to liaise with your Headteacher in the first instance in your role as UNISON steward when organising Stars In Our Schools and the involvement of the children.

Ask your HT if they would organise a special day based on the event perhaps fancy dress ( theme at their discretion) a humanitarian cause? A climate change theme? All these kind of ideas. However time is of the essence, so we really need to start planning and preparing now for the 27th!

Take permitted photographs and then forward over to Elaine Clapham, Administrator, who will be your main port of call, Salford City UNISON elaine.clapham@salfordcityunison.org.uk so they can appear in the National Unison Newsletter and in time for our annual rag!
