Elections to UNISON’s Service Group Executive (SGE) bodies will run from 28th April – to 25th May. You will receive voting papers at your home address and the candidates you can vote for will depend on your employer.
These elections are really important as the SGEs have powers over fundamentally important issues like national pay bargaining and terms and conditions. Therefore, it’s really important that you use your vote.
Salford City UNISON stewards and officers have nominated the following candidates because we believe they will pursue the issues that members tell us are important.
Local Government – Lois Founds, Glen Williams, and Rena Wood
Community – Hanna English and Hassan Ortega
Health – Karen Reissmann, John Flannery, and Denise Williams
