Please come and support us. Gather from 12 noon in the Gala Square DH1 1SQ (Millennium Place). Leave at 12.45pm to march to Redhills Miners’ Hall, Flass Street  DH1 4BE for our SOLIDARITY RALLY

Thank you for your support of our campaign against Durham County Council’s pay cut proposals for their 2,700 Teaching Assistants. We strive to keep up our campaign profile as the Council negotiates with unions and TA representation.


To thank you for support local and national, CDTAAC (County Durham Teaching Assistants Activists Committee) are holding a solidarity day in March 2017.


3.Greater Manchester Citizens – Mayoral Assembly 2017

GM Citizens Meeting on 1st May 2-4pm. This Mayoral Assembly  will  be an opportunity for all the  member  organisations involved  to show how much support they have for the issues which they champion and gain pledges from the incoming Mayor..  The 4 issues to be represented are


Social Care and NHS Cuts

Hate Crime

Living Wage

Affordable Housing and Homelessness


With all 4 of the Mayoral candidates present we will be seeking pledges from the first Greater Manchester Mayor about the decisions they lead regarding social care, transport, young people and social reform.  With such strong community based issues we are inviting our branches  members and families to this ticket only event. There will be music and fun but also a chance for great interaction with member testimonies, stories, and celebration of  our communities coming together.
